The first Dr. Martens Chelsea boots were produced in the early 70s, but the style dates back to the Victorian era. Our 2976 boots are a sleek, easy-to-fit boot crafted from tumbling Ambassador leather, giving them a worn-out look. The 2976 is a Doc Martens-O-Bet replacement for the classic Chelsea boot. It has been in production since the 1970s. Ambassador is a heavy, oily leather that has been tumbled to enhance its character. Pull-style, with elastic gussets. Our Goodyear welt seams are heat-sealed at 700°C and reinforced with our signature stitching.
